5 Things You Won’t Need To Worry About With A Battery-Powered Cell Phone Charging Station

Many charging stations require an external power source, and while this isn’t a problem for most event hosts and locations, outdoor events or venues with unique floorplans can have limited access to power. We’ve taken this into consideration and are excited to announce our new Battery Pack option!

Our battery packs use cutting-edge lithium ion technology to run two Flex units for 8 hours – perfect for events when you can’t count on finding an electrical outlet nearby. These batteries are 70% lighter than most battery solutions, and at only 40 pounds each they are easily portable. If your event is outside or at a space where you’ll be charged extra for a power source, our batteries will be a cost-effective option for your charging station. Plus, we can also configure them to power your other appliances and decor.

Still wondering if our battery packs are a good fit for you? Here are just 5 things you won’t have to worry about when choosing to use a battery-powered charging station.

  1. Buy extension cords at the last minute
While InCharged provides you with a cable to power your charging unit of choice, you may not always know just how far you’ll be from the closest outlet. Save yourself the hassle of running to the drugstore last minute for extension cables by choosing our battery-powered options!
  2. Make sure attendees don’t trip over power cables
Running power cables can be a challenge if you don’t have much space to work with. Using a battery pack alleviates the issue of having to run power cables in walkways or in areas where event attendees may trip over them.
  3. Compete with others for an outlet
If you’ve ever attended an event where your battery died, you know all too well that finding an open outlet can be a challenge. Between vendors using outlets to power their displays, event staff shooing you away from outlets, and other attendees fighting to charge their devices, a spare outlet can be a rare commodity. Spare yourself the hassle by switching to battery-powered charging units and let everyone else duke it out over outlets.
  4. Worry about an unplugged unit
Have you ever done your laundry in a laundromat, only to come back and find your wet clothes on top of the washing machine with someone else’s dirty laundry in the wash? The same thing happens with power cables every day. If you think that event attendees or other vendors may unplug your unit to use the outlet, consider using battery packs instead.
  5. Tether yourself to the closest outlet
We know all too well that the right location can directly influence your success. If you’ve ever felt tethered to the closest outlet, using a battery-powered charging unit will give you the freedom you need!
