Has battery life really gotten better as new cell phones get more advanced? The majority of cell phones use a lithium-ion battery – technology that hasn’t really caught up with the complicated processing we demand of our smartphones today.

Connor Tarter of the Daily Reveille suggests researchers should focus on battery life rather than design: “I would much rather have a phone that’s 0.1-millimeter thicker if it meant that my battery could last an extra hour. The age of wowing audiences with how thin a phone can be has passed — the real wow factor will come with performance and premium features.”

But don’t worry – until battery technology catches up with smartphone capabilities, InCharged cell phone charging stations will keep your battery full.
